London Design Festival - POWERSH(II)FT
Group Exhibition curated by POOR Collective at London Design Festival, 2024
POWERSHIIFT is the second iteration of Power Out of Restriction’s (POoR) group exhibition in Brompton, celebrating the talents of emerging artists, architects, and designers. This show promises an exciting mix of furniture, paintings, and sculptures. Showcasing three immersive sculptures from my solo exhibition ‘The Room that Shared’. This series of sculptures moulded from plywood forms, evoke and articulate human relationships through its relationship with the body. They welcome you to have a seat on them. Titled:
How I have always been
“We’re very independent individuals and we don’t come together. Actually only in recent years a little bit.”
The dense weight of expectation may be a guide to some or a constraint to others. How well does one fit into the mould of a pre-carved space?
