Bio & CV

I am a multidisciplinary artist based in London, creating experiential sculpture. By making work that is interactive, immersive, and wearable, my practice seeks to explore the relationship and overlap between sculpture and the human form. Through my work, I conceptually look to creatively navigate emotions, delve into the intricacies of human connections, and explore the ever-evolving dynamics of family and personal relationships. Studying fashion for several years has developed a sensitivity and appreciation for the human body, which now articulates itself in the form of sculpture that examines physical articulation, movement, and audience interaction. My sculptural work is primarily in the medium of wood and fabric, where I sculpt and design pieces in synergy with the human body, personifying objects and injecting life into the inanimate. Through experiential sculpture, I invite audiences to connect, question, and reflect and hope to offer viewers an opportunity to discover a piece of themselves within sculptures that speak on our shared existence.

I completed an MA in Fashion at the Royal College of Art, where I was supported with a scholarship from both the RCA and the British Fashion Council. Prior to this, I attended Central Saint Martins, where I studied Fashion: Print. My past works have seen me collaborate with a range of different creatives and platforms such as Bianca Saunders, BOLD Agency & Somerset House, Wayne McGregor & The Royal Opera House, record label 4AD, Bridgerton & The British Fashion Council, and The Design Museum. I have been featured in various publications such as Vogue, System Magazine, Revue Magazine, 1 Granary, and Dezeen. Most recently, I had a solo show titled The Room that Shared with the curatorial platform MAMA and was awarded the Black British Artist Grant by Samuel Ross.
